Discover four generations of your family history through detailed Scottish genealogical research, with the findings carefully entered into your Kith & Kin Digital Family Tree Journal.

What is included

• Research into four generations of the Starting Person’s direct ancestors: their parents, grandparents, great-grandparents and great-great-grandparents

• Birth, marriage, death and census findings for each direct ancestor, where available

• Research findings entered into the relevant sections of the Digital Family Tree Journal

• A four-generation pedigree chart

• Digital delivery by email

The Starting Person may be you or somebody else and is not counted as one of the four generations.

Original record copies

Original birth, marriage, death and census record copies are not included. After receiving your results, you can reply to the results email to request any available digital record copies. We will confirm availability and cost before sending a separate payment link.

Consent for living people

Written consent is required from every living person who will be researched or included in the family tree. Research cannot begin until all required consents have been received.

What happens after you order

We will email you a questionnaire requesting details about the Starting Person and any family information already known. Research will begin after we have received the required information and written consents.

Turnaround time

We aim to deliver your completed digital journal and pedigree chart within four weeks of receiving all the required information and consents. If we believe it will take longer, we will let you know by email.

This is a digital research package. No printed journal, framed chart or original record copies are included.
