3-Generation Family Foundations

Begin your family-history journey with a clear, professionally researched foundation.

You choose a Starting Person. This may be you or somebody else. The Starting Person is not counted as one of the three generations: the research begins with their parents.

What is included:

• Initial complimentary family-history research
• A three-generation pedigree chart
• The Starting Person’s parents, grandparents and great-grandparents
• Names, dates, places and other relevant information gathered while preparing the chart, where available
• A Digital Family Tree Journal containing the research findings for continuing your own family-history journey or selecting an upgrade to a four- or five-generation package

Original birth, marriage, death and census documents are not included in the package price. After receiving your research findings, you may request digital copies of available records identified during the research. Simply reply to your results email with the records you would like. We will confirm their availability and price before sending you a separate payment link.

Family-history research depends on the survival, availability and accuracy of historical records.

Written consent is required from every living person who will be researched or included in the family tree. Research involving a living person cannot begin until their consent has been received.

What happens after you order

We will email you a short questionnaire requesting details about the Starting Person and any family information already known. Research will begin only after we have received the required information and written consent from every living person who will be researched or included in the family tree. Your updated digital Family Tree Journal and three-generation pedigree chart will then be sent to you by email.

Turnaround time

We aim to deliver your completed digital journal and pedigree chart within two weeks of receiving all the required information and consents. If we believe it will take longer, we will let you know by email.
